Organix Bed Certifications
What's Inside an Organix Bed — And Every Certification That Proves It.
Organix Bed mattresses pair certified organic materials with non-organic components chosen to be free of harmful VOCs and EMFs. This page explains each certification in plain English and shows exactly which bed carries which certification, and for which layer.
01The Certifications, Explained
Seven independent standards back up the "organic" and "non-toxic" promise. Each one certifies something different — from the fibers you touch to the emissions in your bedroom air.
The leading standard for organic fibers. Certifies that textiles are made from at least 95% certified-organic material and processed without prohibited chemicals, harsh dyes, or toxic finishes — across the full supply chain.
The organic counterpart to GOTS, but for latex. Certifies that latex is made from organically grown rubber-tree sap and limits fillers and harmful substances in the finished foam.
Every component is lab-tested against a list of hundreds of harmful substances. An OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 label means each tested part is verified safe for skin contact.
Certifies that the polyurethane foams are made without ozone depleters, PBDE/TDCPP flame retardants, mercury, lead and other heavy metals, or formaldehyde — and are low-VOC for indoor air quality.
Certifies that a raw material is responsibly sourced from well-managed forests. For latex, that means the rubber comes from rubber trees grown to strict environmental and social standards.
An independent German institute that tests products for emissions and pollutants such as VOCs and formaldehyde. An eco-INSTITUT label signals verified low off-gassing.
A stricter emissions certification for low chemical output, with limits set to protect sensitive people including children. It applies to the finished mattress and the air quality of the room it's in.
