The mattress protector really works to keep any body fluids or liquids from staining the mattress. Already had a minor spill and the protector did it’s job – nothing on the mattress.

Some static buildup
The jury is still out on the mattress protector. It’s ‘slippery’ ( sheets slide around. We have 100% cotton sheets) & it’s a bit noisy.
These are very easy to put on
The mattress protector is made from synthetic materials. Kind of defeats the purpose of having an all natural bed.
I have placed this on the bed. I haven’t had any spills so can’t say anything about the protection but it does not make any sounds with movement. Some protectors have a harsh scratchy plastic sounds when shifting in bed – this does not make any sounds.
It’s fine but thin so I had to add another thicker protector for warmth.
